Since Dwyane Johnson’s new film premiered in cinemas around the world with mixed reviewsto then be able to go online in HBO Max from December, what happens in the post-credit scene of Black Adam? Is it true that Henry Cavill’s Superman appears?
If we’re not worried about spoilers, here we go.
Indeed, the post-credits scene of Black Adam shows a character in charge of The Rock and El Hombre d’Acer showing some hostility between them. No one knows for sure today what those seconds mean or, in fact, how they are embodied in the upcoming DC Comics superhero movies.
But to recap, the scene starts with Amanda Waller sending a drone to talk to Black Adam. She is not very happy after the anti-hero escapes from his underwater prison and tells her that he managed to get her attention and that he will set her free as long as he never steps outside his home country, to which Black Adam will answer you. : “There is no one on this planet who can stop me.”
He leads Waller to tell him that there is someone who is not of this world who can help her and that’s when Superman appears and tells Black Adam: “We should talk”.
After this post-credit scene of Black Adam there will be a fight with Superman or they will join forces to fight some future or common enemy.
There are several upcoming DC movies including Shazam: Fury of the Gods, The Flash and Aquaman 2: and the Lost Kingdom, but there are no references to Black Adam or Superman appearing in the form of cameos .
There is also talk of a second standalone Superman movie starring Henry Cavill, but no announcements yet.
DC Comics, like the entire universe included in the merged company Warner Bros. Discovery is in a total transformation process, which will lead from the unification of the platforms. HBO Max and Discovery Plus in one, to an attempt to reposition DC to be more like Marvel in relation to how their films (and series?) are more linked to each other.
Meanwhile, Black Adam has already arrived in cinemas, to premiere on streaming from December 2022 in HBO Max.
