Top movies

This year we decided to ask our readers what their favorite movies of 2022 were. Like everything, everyone has their time to watch movies. Where some will have seen more, others will have seen less, but the most beautiful thing is to see the general calculation and discover which ones have managed to remain in the collective memory.

Although 2021 was largely defined by its proximity to the beginning of the pandemicwhen cinema closures forced moviegoers to establish new habits, 2022 seemed to try to return to ‘the usual’. And so it has been, to a greater or lesser extent, a year of really solid entertainment, featuring fantastic films from countless genres and from virtually every corner of the world. Without further ado, here below are the top movies that our readers have chosen in our Telegram group.

In 2017, Carla Simón became the surprise star of Spanish cinema with his debut ‘Summer 1993’. For this reason, expectations for his second film were sky high, and he did not disappoint. ‘Alcarràs’ saw the light at the Berlin International Film Festival, where won the Golden Bear for best film. The film follows the Solé family, dedicated to the cultivation of peach trees, after the death of the owner of their large estate, which threatens to suddenly end the support of the family.
