This weekend, during the Super Bowl 2023, the new trailer for The Flash was presented, which from what I could tell, it is not known if it is a film of The Batman mixed with the concepts of the metaverse that repeatedly in Marvel, but now with the “DC touch”. The Flash opens in theaters and then online on HBO Max. Is it worth paying the price of a ticket to a room?
What is the film about?
Warner Bros. presented the script in this way: “The worlds collide in “Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel in time and change the events of the past. But when his intention to save his family unwittingly alters the future, Barry is trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no superheroes to fall back on. That is, unless Barry can pull a very different Batman out of his retreat and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… even if that’s not what he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world he finds himself in and return to the future he knows, Barry’s only hope is to escape it for his life. But will it be enough to make the last sacrifice to restart the universe?”
It sounds something similar to Spider-Man 3, when Peter Parker asks Doctor Strange to change the past and Spidey, count on the help of other spider-men, doesn’t it?
The Flash opens in theaters and then online on HBO Max
The film premieres in theaters in mid-June and will then be streamed via HBO Max. How much? Depending on how well it does at the box office.
The good and the bad seen in the trailer
The appearance of The Batman with Michael Keaton, without two things, gives it an interesting appeal. Without embargo, the story similar to what Marvel does with its multiverse and the dubious special effects, typical of DC films, there is not much enthusiasm to spend on a ticket to the cinema.
