There are times when they bring us something sweet, especially on summer afternoons, where a cold dessert with a touch of fresh fruit is perfect to enjoy in these hot months. One of the most consumed products is lemon and with it you can prepare endless refreshing drinks or ice cream.
So that you can share a great time with your family and not have to turn on the oven for its preparation, here we share the recipe of biscuit-based lemon bars by Día biscuit specialists, which is part of “Marks a tu lado”, an initiative of Alicorp.
Ingredients:
For the base:
- Vanilla Day Cookies (150 grams)
- 50 grams of granulated white sugar
- 50 grams of margarine
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
For the filling:
- 2 cans of condensed milk
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (375 milliliters)
Preparation:
- Grind the Vanilla Day cookies and place in a bowl
- Add sugar, melted butter and vanilla.
- Mix to form a paste and place in a greased pan. Crush well on the base and edges of the model until it is very compact.
- Blend the condensed milk and lemon juice. Pour the preparation into the model, on the compact base.
- Leave it in the freezer for one night or about 4 hours.
- Retire and enjoy! If you want to reserve after eating a portion, place it in the refrigerator again.
