This is the character’s third solo film after his first film in 2015 and its sequel Ant-Man and The Wasp in 2018.
The film began filming in Turkey in early February 2021, while filming continued in San Francisco in June 2021, which also included Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire.
What is the film about?
Superheroes Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne stepped back to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Joined by Hope’s parents, Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, and together with Scott’s daughter, Cassie Lang, the group finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with new and strange creatures, and embarking on an adventure that will take them beyond of the limits of what I thought was possible. They will also come into first contact with Kang the Conqueror in the Quantum Realm.
How much does Ant-Man 3: Quantumania premiere in streaming and cinemas?
The film opens in cinemas worldwide from the week of February 15, 2023. Depending on the country, it will be on February 15, 16 or 17.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumanía will then arrive on streaming via Disney Plusthe exclusive platform for Marvel content.
Until part of 2021 and 2022, Disney left a window of about 45 days between the premiere in theaters and streaming. Later, this window was extended to more than 80 and 90 days. The exact date of its arrival on Disney Plus will depend on the results at the box office, but it also cannot be delayed too long so as not to disrupt the interaction between the series and movies of Marvel. Most likely it will be during the second quarter of 2023 (April, May or June), but I would have to wait for confirmation of the service from Disney.
