As part of the Star Wars Celebration event, Disney Plus will present the new Star Wars franchise series that will be released in 2022 and 2023, including Andor, the highly anticipated The Mandalorian 3 and Skeleton Crew.
Andor stars Diego Luna, who will reprise the role he played in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as Cassian Andor. Andor premieres at Disney Plus on August 31st.
The first season will have 12 episodes and a season 2 is confirmed. That’s why you could see in the first trailer will be a series with a lot of action:
The series tells the story of the growing rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets have become involved. It is an era full of dangers, deceptions and intrigues in which Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebellious hero.
The long-awaited The Mandalorian 3 and Skeleton Crew
The third season of The Mandalorian premieres in February 2023. As we saw in the last chapters of The Book of Boba Fett, we know that the expected series brings together the characters of Mando and Grogu.
During the Star Wars Celebration, executive producer Jon Favreau announced that Mando will finally head to Mandalore, the home planet of the Mandalorians, in search of forgiveness. Favreau also shared that fans should expect to see some familiar faces in the new season, with Carl Weathers and Katee Sackhoff returning to play Greef Karga and Bo-Katan Kryze, respectively.
In addition, the Star Wars universe will continue to expand with Skeleton Crew, starring Jude Law, and will reach Disney Plus in 2023, although there are still no further details on the stretch.
